A little bit of background.....

“Photography is in your blood” – as many people seem to say!! With both parents who are keen, enthusiastic Photographic Society members, who regularly exhibit in National and International Exhibitions and with a father who judges up and down the country, I guessed that one day the bug would catch me! All those years of stopping at every possible landscape point in the middle of the Scottish Highlands and waiting for that “magic moment” of sunlight, I remember my most common of calls being “Haven’t you finished yet Dad?” !!!!!

So here I am now; having done the Industrial world of Cosmetics as both a Quality Control Chemist and an International Buyer , I gave up my career when my daughter was born and decided to change direction into painting and photography. The latter eventually took over, along with my appetite for image manipulation using Adobe’s Photoshop.

In 2007 a selection of my work was chosen to be part of the new abc collection of greetings cards and I now have an excellent relationship with the Company and continue to work closely with them.

I am a member of the RPS (Royal Photographic Society), the SAA (Society for all Artists), Ashford Photographic Society (Vice Chairman) and Folkestone camera club.
